Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is a thermal analysis technique which measures the temperature and heat flow associated with transitions in materials as a function of temperature and time. Determination of the glass transition temperature, cure degree, heat capacity and study of the cure reaction of thermoset matrix composite materials.

Dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) is a thermoanalytical technique used for studying the viscoelastic nature of polymers. Determination of the glass transition temperature and viscoelastic properties of polymers and polymer composites.

  • Temperature range: -145 – 600 ºC
  • Heating rate: 0.1 – 20 ºC/min
  • Modulus: range 1 kPa – 3 TPa, precision +/-1 %

Universal Testing machine

MTS Landmark Sistema de Ensayo Servohidraulico mod. 370.1

Universal mechanical testing machine (static and dynamic) calibrated to tensile and compression. Performing a variety of static tests (Compression, IPSS, Tensile, core tests …) and dynamic tests (fatigue).

The load capacity of the machine is 5 and 100 kN, the working temperature range is -120 ° C to 315 ° C since a thermal chamber can be coupled by having two types of jaws.

Automatic cutting machine with refrigerated disc. Cutting and preparation of panels to obtain samples.
